Fresh, delicious sandwiches, kind and helpful staff, cheerful cafe atmo. We're very fortunate to have Eunice Gourmet in the neighborhood.

Very cute little cafe with fast, friendly service and tasty chocolate croissants. They have a variety of pastries and coffees to choose from, so your sure to find a small snack.

I wish they offered to warm the chocolate croissant for me, as it would have been even better. Most places do, but maybe here you have to ask.

    Actual rating: 3 1/2 stars.

$7.95 for the Morning Breaker Bagel, but it was so worth it! The Morning Breaker Bagel consists of spinach, tomato, turkey, beansprouts, and creme fraiche - a French style cream cheese that has a creamier texture and less sour taste compared to American cream cheese. I also ordered a chai tea latte, which was extra foamy and could've done with more chai.

Overall, enjoyed my quick breakfast stop here in Downtown Albany.

Had grilled chicken + mozzarella sandwich. Delicious!
Only reason I put 4 star is the price. A bit expensive, but I guess it's worth it.

Once again, the best coffee in the East Bay. If you're looking for coffee that is watery, acidic, and weak, this is not the place for you. The coffee is rich, hearty, and strong. I have yet to find another place in Berkeley/Albany with coffee like this (Catahoula comes close).
